Don’t forget the Table Top Sale is this Saturday 25th February.

The next Bingo Night is on Friday 10th March in the Community Village Hall. Eyes down 7.00pm. £ 5.00 entry to include all games. Teas and coffees available. Raffle. All proceeds to Village Hall funds.

The next Tea Dance is Tuesday 7th March in the Community Village Hall from 2.00pm – 5.00pm. £4-00p per person to include refreshments and homemade cakes. Come along and enjoy the music and good company. For further details ring 01262 850135.

A very good week for both teams. On Wednesday the Bs had a 10 – 0 home win against Cayton and on Thursday the As travelled to Crossgates and recorded an 8 – 2 victory. We’ll done everyone!

A big thank you to all involved in making the Tabletop and Garage Sale such a success.

At 9.00am this Friday (8th July) work begins on the new storage structure. Peter invites anyone who can lend a hand with barrowing for an hour or so to come along. MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK!

The Bowls Club organised a short mat bowls taster session for over 30 children on Thursday 9th June. This is the second year we have run this and we hope it will become an annual event. It was a somewhat exhausting afternoon for the ageing Alan, Ros and John but very enjoyable. Our thanks to the teachers and our special thanks to the children for their enthusiasm, courtesy and support for each other.

The first ever Bingo Night was held in the Hall on Friday June 10th. We now plan to hold this event on the second Friday of each month. BYO alcoholic drinks, teas and coffees available All welcome. £5.00 entry to cover all games. Next event Friday 8th July at 7.00pm

CONCERT BY RAVEN

There will be a concert by this Scarborough – based band of singers and multi – instrumentalists on Saturday 21st May 7.30pm at the Community Village Hall. Tickets  are £8.00. Ring 07757 765 196 to reserve.
