VILLAGE NEWS 24th JUNE

Village News for Bempton and Buckton

ST MICHAEL’S PARISH CHURCH

On Sunday July 5th the service will be Holy Communion at 6pm. A warm welcome to all parishioners and visitors.

Keep a keen eye on this website, the Parish Council noticeboard next to the Post Office and the Post Office window for all the latest news of what’s coming up in the villages. Talking of the Post Office – Martin tells us he’s now linked to all major banks. We’re very lucky to have kept our Post Office – as they say “use it or lose it”.

Tuesday night’s first quiz went very well on 23rd June. The next one is next Tuesday 30th June. We plan to make this a regular event subject to continued support. Watch out for details.

A reminder of the pop in centre at the Hall on Monday mornings. A cup of tea, a friendly chat and maybe some help with your new phone or tablet. See website for details. On Monday 6th PCSO Liz Smith will be in attendance to hold a “surgery” at 10.00.

Don’t forget the Auction and the upcoming Garage and tabletop sale.
