BEMPTON CHRISTMAS MARKET
This event takes place on Sunday 20th November. Volunteers are needed to help with a range of tasks in the lead up and on the day. If you can help in any way please contact Claire on 01262 850 703. Without volunteers this long running and popular event will not take place.
CHARITY AUCTION POSTPONED
We regret that the Charity Auction scheduled for 8th November has been postponed to the New Year owing to illness.
BOWLS CLUB – ANOTHER NEAR MISS
Last Wednesday the Bowls Club enjoyed a close match against Scarborough Kestrels losing 6-4. Each triple won one game so we went down on aggregate score again!!. Next week we’re away to BSA. Onwards and upwards.

OOOOOOH THAT WAS CLOSE
The Bowls Club lost narrowly (5 shots ) to Folkton and Flixton this Wednesday. A great match with two games each but the negative shot difference means we’re out of the cup. There’s always the Plate!
BOWLS CLUB LATEST
The Bowls Club team suffered a whitewash defeat at Marton last Wednesday. On mats much longer and slower than we are used to we all struggled against a very good team. We were made very welcome and had an enjoyable evening despite the result. We knew we’d be on a steep learning curve and they say “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”.
RACE NIGHT
Thanks to all who organised, sponsored and attended Saturday’s Race Night was a great success.
