BROWNIES

Congratulations to the Bempton Brownies on obtaining their first aid badges and certitcates and also on raising £550 for the Nepal earthquake victims with a sponsored skip.

WEDNESDAY CLUB

The Wednesday club organisers have posted the following-
“The latest meeting took place on the 8th July and as usual it was a good afternoon of bring and buy, raffles, and we had the added attraction this month of name the teddy, and two lovely ladies from Bon Marche shop who took a few orders from our ladies another great afternoon of chat and laughter, if you would like to join our gatherings our next meeting is on 12th August  why not come along and see if you would like to make the second Wednesday in every month a trip out for you. We also enjoy going out ourselves on trips, we are going to Richmond this month, I’m sure it will be a great day out, hope to see some more of you soon”

The next Committee Meeting is on Thursday 23rd July. If there is any matter that you would like to be on the Agenda and/or if you would like to speak at the meeting please let the Secretary or any Committee Member know as soon as possible.

RECENT SUCCESSES

The Bempton Hidden Gardens organised by St Michael’s was a great success despite the changeable weather and £400 was raised for church funds.

The recent auction at the Hall went very well and a repeat booking is expected.

QUIZ NIGHT 7th JULY

The next quiz is on Tuesday 7th July with a special first appearance of your very own Chairman, Mr Andrew Parkinson, as quizmaster. All are most welcome. Bring your own drinks and glasses. Teas and coffees and crisps will be avaliable. 9.00pm start.

HIDDEN GARDENS 5th JULY

HIDDEN GARDENS

 

On Sunday 5th July eight lovely gardens will be open to the public from 11.00 till 4.00. The trail starts at the Church. The cost is £3.50 per head (to include a cuppa), accompanied children free. The Church Hall will be open serving its famed refreshments.
