AMY JOHNSON PLAY
In the Community Village Hall on Friday 18th May at 7.30pm BADAPPLE TOURING THEATRE COMPANY will be presenting their acclaimed play about local heroine Amy Johnson. Tickets are available from Maureen Burnell on 0844 500 5152 or 07849 639 650 or on the night.
At the Annual General Meeting of the Bempton and Buckton Community Village Hall Charity held on Thursday 9th May the Chairman , Mel Parker, reported on a very successful year. The to do list has now gone from the lobby as the majority of the upgrades and additions have been achieved. Special thanks to Peter Hebden, who has now left the Committee to enjoy a well earned retirement, for all his efforts during his time with us. The Treasurer’s report, delivered by Ann Maycock, showed a healthy situation but we continue to need to raise funds to secure the future of the wonderful facilities that so many people now enjoy.
TABLE TOP SALE
A Table Top Sale is to be held in the Community Village Hall on Saturday 26th May from 10am to 2pm. Admission is free. Cost of a table is £ 6.00 and set up time is from 9.00am. TAEKWONDO
East Coast All Stars Taekwondo is starting in the Community Village Hall on Tuesday 20th February. Ages 6-15 yrs from 6.30 to 7.30 and 16+ years from 7.30 – 8.30. First session free. Qualified instructor with appropriate training and clearances. Full details from Darren on 07951649934.

The next Bingo Night is on Friday 9th February. Eyes down 7.00pm. B.Y.O alcoholic drinks. £5.00 entry to include all games. There will be a raffle and refreshments will be available. All proceeds to Village Hall funds.
