Get ready for an unforgettable evening of razor-sharp satire and side-splitting comedy as From Here to Absurdity comes to Bempton and Buckton Village Hall.
The quick-fire satirical sketch show From Here to Absurdity is coming to Bempton and Buckton Village Hall on Saturday, 22nd February.
Written and performed by Richard Kelly (Private Eye contributor) and Ashley Hern (formerly of the Oxford University revue), the show features 90 minutes of original comedy sketches, performed in a style reminiscent of Peter Cook and Stephen Fry. It has toured nationwide and appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe and Chicago Sketch Festivals.
Kelly and Hern are joined by Chester-based comedian Lucy Simons, with sketches tackling topics like Brexit, Boris, Prince Harry, cancel culture, and more. Perfect for anyone aged 40+ (especially over 50), the show is sharp, funny, and unmissable.
Doors open at 7pm, with the show starting at 7:30pm. Bring your own drinks and enjoy live comedy for just £10!
Tickets can be booked by calling 0844 500 5152 or 07849 639650. Alternatively you can purchase a ticket in person at the Bempton Post Office, High Street, Bempton.
