We would like to thank everyone who joined us at our recent D-Day commemoration event at the Bempton and Buckton Community Village Hall.
The afternoon was a great success and special thanks go to Pete Jones of Bempton and Harry Clarke of Filey who provided fantastic entertainment transporting us back to the 40s, 50s and 60s.
Our buffet was also a great success and we would like to express our thanks to everyone who made the effort to share their food.
Finally, we are proud to announce that we made £236 from donations and proceeds from the raffle that will all go to the veterans charity.
