TEA DANCE RAISES £250
The November Tea Dance was a great success raising £250 for Children In Need. Ann Parker made a special effort baking Pudsey biscuits and decorating all the cakes with miniature Pudseys. (See pictures below).
The December (Christmas) Tea Dance is on Tuesday 8th from 2-00 till 5-00pm. at £3.50p p/p including refreshments.
BOWLS CLUB ANOTHER ENJOYABLE DEFEAT!
The team travelled to Swinton on Wednesday afternoon to play BSA and enjoyed s close match losing 8 – 2. Good experience of another pair of long slowish mats! There’s always next week!
BOTTLES PLEASE
There will be a Bottle Stall at the Victorian Market with all proceeds going to the Community Village Hall. If you would like to help raise funds by donating a bottle of something alcoholic this would be much appreciated. Please leave bottles at the Hall or contact Maureen or any Committee Member.

We are having a table at the craft event in the Village Hall on Saturday 14th November. We will be doing a Giant Tombola at Bempton Christmas Market on Sunday 15th November. The Christmas lunch list is now closed.

This event takes place on Sunday 20th November. Volunteers are needed to help with a range of tasks in the lead up and on the day. If you can help in any way please contact Claire on 01262 850 703. Without volunteers this long running and popular event will not take place.
CHARITY AUCTION POSTPONED
We regret that the Charity Auction scheduled for 8th November has been postponed to the New Year owing to illness.
BOWLS CLUB – ANOTHER NEAR MISS
Last Wednesday the Bowls Club enjoyed a close match against Scarborough Kestrels losing 6-4. Each triple won one game so we went down on aggregate score again!!. Next week we’re away to BSA. Onwards and upwards.
