BEMPTON CHRISTMAS MARKET
This event takes place on Sunday 20th November. Volunteers are needed to help with a range of tasks in the lead up and on the day. If you can help in any way please contact Claire on 01262 850 703. Without volunteers this long running and popular event will not take place.

ANY VOLUNTEERS?!?
At 9.00am this Friday (8th July) work begins on the new storage structure. Peter invites anyone who can lend a hand with barrowing for an hour or so to come along. MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK!
DEFIBRILLATOR NOW INSTALLED
The Community Village Hall is now home to a defibrillator. It is located on the outside wall to the right of the main entrance.
BOWLS CLUB AND BEMPTON SCHOOL
The Bowls Club organised a short mat bowls taster session for over 30 children on Thursday 9th June. This is the second year we have run this and we hope it will become an annual event. It was a somewhat exhausting afternoon for the ageing Alan, Ros and John but very enjoyable. Our thanks to the teachers and our special thanks to the children for their enthusiasm, courtesy and support for each other.
NEXT BINGO NIGHT FRIDAY 8TH JULY
The first ever Bingo Night was held in the Hall on Friday June 10th. We now plan to hold this event on the second Friday of each month. BYO alcoholic drinks, teas and coffees available All welcome. £5.00 entry to cover all games. Next event Friday 8th July at 7.00pm
Wednesday Club
The Wednesday Club held its meeting on 8th June and all who came enjoyed a nice cream tea along with their tea and coffee. The Bring and Buy Table and Raffle were well supported. Our next meeting will be on 13th July from 2.00pm to 4.00pm.
Table Top and Garage Sale 23rd and 24th July
VILLAGE GARAGE SALE
A Village Garage Sale is being held on 23rd and 24th July 2016 from 10.00am. to 4.00pm. Villagers wishing to take part can obtain a booking form from, and return the completed form to, Bempton Post Office. Route maps will be available on both days from the Community Village Hall where refreshments will be available.
TABLE TOP SALE
A Table Top Sale is also being held in the Community Village Hall on 23rd and 24th July 2016 from 10.00pm to 4.00pm. Set up time is from 9.00am only. Cost of a table is £7 per day or £12 for 2 days. Enquiries and bookings for Table Top Sale only please ring 01262 422047 or 07774 232662
