A special celebration is coming to the Bempton & Buckton Community Village Hall this May as the Bempton Brownies prepare to mark their 50th anniversary with an afternoon of memories, friendship and fun.
Former members, leaders, families and friends are invited to join the celebrations on Saturday 16th May from 2pm to 4pm at Bempton & Buckton Community Village Hall. The event will look back on five decades of Brownie adventures, community spirit and lasting friendships that have been shared by generations.
Visitors will be able to enjoy video highlights and photographs dating from 1984 to 1999, alongside displays celebrating the history of the group. Organisers hope the event will provide a wonderful opportunity for old friends to reconnect and share memories from their time in the Brownies.
With refreshments, anniversary cake and plenty of nostalgia, the afternoon promises to be a warm and welcoming celebration of an organisation that has played an important role in Bempton for half a century.
