St MICHAEL’S PARISH CHURCH 

 

Sunday 3rd November – All Saints Service at 10.30am and at 6.30 pm Service of Remembrance at which names of those who have died will be remembered and there is the opportunity for loved ones to light a candle 

 

COMMUNITY VILLAGE HALL

THE SNOW DANCER

 

BADAPPLE presents The Snow Dancer – a brand new eco-fable for all ages. Saturday 7th December at 6.00 pm. Tickets available from the Village Hall at £12.00 (concessions £10.00, under-16s, £8.00 and family £30.00). Please ring 0844 500 5152 / 07849639650.

 

BINGO

 

Bingo Night is the second Friday of each month. Eyes down 7.00pm. £5.00 entry to include all games. There will be a raffle and refreshments will be available. All proceeds to Village Hall funds. 

 

” CHILDREN IN NEED” TEA DANCE 

 

On Tuesday 12th November from 2-00pm to 5-00pm at Bempton and Buckton Community Village Hall.  £4-00 per person to include refreshments and homemade cakes. All proceeds donated to Children in Need.

Come along. You will be made very welcome. Listen to the music and enjoy a great atmosphere with popular and social sequence dancing. Wear something yellow to support Pudsey. For details Contact Ann and Mel.

DANCING

Modern Sequence Dancing every Tuesday morning from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon. £3-00 per person.

 

WEDNESDAY CLUB 

 

The Wednesday Club is a ladies’ social group which meets in the Community Village Hall on the second Wednesday of the month for a couple of hours between 1.00pm. and 4.00pm, depending on the planned activities. Lunches and Cream Teas along with a Quiz or Competition a Raffle and much more. Any lady wishing to fill some spare time and make new friends come along and join this friendly outgoing group you will be made very welcome.

 

CRAFTY COMPANIONS 

Crafty Companions meet on the first, third and fifth Wednesdays of the month at the Community Village Hall from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. New members are welcome to join the group of crafters who knit, crochet, sew, embroider, paint etc. For more information please contact Judith on 01262 602327.

 

CRAFT FAYRE

 

Crafty Companions are organizing a Craft Fayre to be held on Saturday 26th October 2019 in the Bempton and Buckton Community Village Hall. Doors will open at 10.30 am and the event closes at 3pm. Admission is free. Light refreshments will be available.

 

CHRISTMAS TABLE TOP SALE   

 

In conjunction with the Annual Bempton Victorian Christmas Market held in Cliff Lane, there will be a Table Top Sale in the Community Village Hall on Sunday 17th November from 10.00am to 4.00pm.  Admission is free. Tables cost £6.00 and set up time is from 9.00am. Hot and cold refreshments will be available. All proceeds to Village Hall funds. POP IN CENTRE

 

All are welcome at the Hall on Monday mornings for a cup of tea, a friendly chat and maybe some help with your new phone or tablet.

SHORT MAT BOWLING 

 

There is an open session in the Hall on Fridays (10.30am – 1.00pm). Cost is £2.00. All ages and abilities are most welcome and all equipment is provided. Please bring flat soled shoes/slippers or make sure your socks don’t have holes in!

The Club meets on Wednesday evenings from 6.30 to 8.30pm in the Hall. We are always looking for new people to join us. Come along any Wednesday or contact Alan on 07803246554

In the Community Village Hall every Thursday Ballroom and Latin classes for intermediates from 6.30 to 7.30pm and for  beginners / intermediates from 7.30 to 8.30pm. £3.50 per person with your first lesson free.

YOGA

WHITE HORSE EVENTS

 

Tuesday Night Quiz and charity raffle at the White Horse Bempton. 9.00pm start. Entry to the quiz is free and everyone is most welcome. Bingo last Thursday of each month at 9.00pm.
