UPDATE 10TH JUNE 2021

IT WAS AGREED AT A SOCIALLY DISTANCED EXTRAORDINARY MEETING OF THE COMMITTEE THAT THE HALL WILL REMAIN CLOSED FOR THE TIME BEING.  THE SITUATION WILL BE REVIEWED AGAIN AFTER THE GOVERNMENT HAS ISSUED NEW GUIDANCE LATER TIS MONTH.

AFTER CONSULTATION BY EMAIL IT WAS AGREED BY THE COMMITTEE THAT: –

1) IT WOULD NOT BE APPROPRIATE TO RE-OPEN THE COMMUNITY VILLAGE HALL ON THE DATE PERMITTED UNDER THE NEW GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES RELEASED ON 23rd JUNE
2) RE-OPENING WILL THEREFORE BE POSTPONED TO A DATE TO BE FIXED WHEN CIRCUMSTANCES PERMIT
3) THE COMMITTEE WILL CONSIDER CAREFULLY THE BEST WAY TO PROCEED TOWARDS RE-OPENING IN A TIMELY BUT EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS MANNER
4) THE COMMITTEE’S PARAMOUNT CONCERN IS PROTECTION OF THE HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF ALL HALL USERS AT ALL TIMES
